The purpose of the Therapist position(LCSW) is to compile assessments and treatment plans for patients atWillow Springs Center with a primary diagnosis of a psychiatricdisorder.They alsoengage in family, individual and group counseling, and develop anddeliver groups of varying types.Therapists are required to document interactionswithin policy requirements and participate in treatment team meetingsand staffings.Seniortherapists may oversee interns or provide supervision or mentorshipto less senior therapists or practicum students.Finally therapists maydevelop and deliver training for therapists, mental healthtechnicians, registered nurses or otherclinicians.

Necessary for Excellent PatientCare:

The therapist is a significantcontributor to the treatment plan and serves as the "hub"for patients, their families, service providers and health careproviders.Without theircoordination of services and input regarding response to treatment,the treatment plan would be fragmented andfail.

Necessary for the Success of WillowSprings:

The therapist is necessary for thesuccess of Willow Springs Center because they coordinate with so manyentities.They work withoutside service providers, physicians, clinicians, health careproviders, parents and guardians to ensure beneficial treatment plansand effective discharge plans.Therapists are the face of Willow Springs Center and directlyimpact the success of Willow Springs Center, in the greater communityand within the center.

Minimum Qualifications:

EDUCATION:Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and FamilyTherapy or similar field.

Aminimum of three (3) years of direct clinical experience in apsychiatric or mental health treatment setting. DBT training aplus.

Must possessfull licensure as an LCSW Therapist. Intern licenses WILL NOTbe accepted.

Anequivalent combination of education and experience may be consideredfor this position.
