Piper/Butternut

Due to no fault of her own, Piper, formerly Butternut, is again looking for a home. This home needs to be PERFECT! Someone that realizes that dogs are for LIFE- not just when they're cute little puppies. Piper is a teenager now. According to her foster home, she is the bestest girl and we don't doubt that for a second. Check out this DARLING little girl!

***Original Post***Acorn and Butternut were born to a displaced family that were living in their car. Not surprisingly, this was not an ideal situation and they needed help. Luckily a good samaritan offered their assistance and turned these precious pups into Boxers and Buddies to help find them homes.

Being a puppy, Butternut will jump, chew, nip, potty in the house, destroy things and pull on the leash OR you can attend our required puppy classes and bypass all that problem behavior! Puppy classes are REQUIRED with adoption to help you and your pup start off on the right paw.​​​

All of our dogs are FAMILY COMPANIONS!

Our adoption requirements are:

We only adopt pets within 4 hours of Reno

You must be 21 years of age

All current pets in the household MUST be spayed/neutered and current on shots (yes, we do call and verify this information)

We do not place female boxers with other female dogs

Attendance at a professionally run obedience course is a requirement of adoption!

We do not adopt out dogs as gifts
