Crow Great Dane Adult Male in Reno, Nevada

My story
CrowCrow is a 3 year old Great Dane. He was rescued from the shelter at a mere 105lbs - that's about 20lbs too thin! We are working on helping him get to his ideal weight of 125 - 130lbs.His foster family say that he is as sweet and gentle as he is big.Crow is great with kids but he is a big boy and can even push adults around when he wants to lean on them or run past them.In the short time that he has been in foster, we noticed that he has become attached to his human and follows him everywhere. Crow is currently living with two mixed Chihuahua dogs and he is very nice to them. One of them is happy to hang out with Crow but the other is intimidated by his size and not quite yet ready to be too close to him.Crow has also done great meeting people while on walks. He will sit or lie down on cue, and stays off the couch. If Crow gets nervous or is uncertain of himself he will lay down to wait out the situation.Great Danes are wonderful dogs, but they are huge. When you triple the size of the average dog, you also triple everything associated with them: triple the food bills, triple the vet bills, triple all of your expenses. They are NOT a cheap or easy breed. They need time, dedication and training. If this all sounds like fun, please fill out an adoption application for Crow!Breed: Great Dane Age: 3 yearsSize: XLGender: MaleGood with:Dogs: YesKids: YesCats: Probably-Adoptions within 4 hours of Reno only.-You must be 21 or Older to Adopt -If you do not own your home, a letter from your landlord or the homeowner is required.-All current pets must be: Spayed/Neutured, Current on Vaccinations, Registered with your Local Animal Control (Yes we do call and verify this information)-We require ALL of our adopted dogs to attend a minimum 5 week professionally run obedience course. -Be aware of your local pet regulations and limits, we do follow them when placing and dog.-Our dogs are family companions and MUST sleep inside the house.
